Please note, the Center and its trails are currently closed.

The health of our visitors, supporters, and staff is of utmost importance to the Constitution Marsh Audubon Center and Sanctuary. In an effort to help protect our community, we are following recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as well as state and local governments and closing the Center building and the surrounding trails until further notice.
 

The facilities and trails will also be closed during this time at the following Audubon properties: Rheinstrom Hill Audubon Center, Buttercup Farm Audubon Sanctuary, and Ramshorn-Livingston Audubon Sanctuary. 
 

Constitution Marsh Audubon Center and Sanctuary is a unique and beautiful tidal marsh located in Putnam County, New York, and serves as vital natural habitat in the Hudson River Estuary. It is located in Putnam County, New York on the east shore of the Hudson River, just south of the village of Cold Spring. The marsh is an Audubon New York Important Bird Area, a New York State Bird Conservation Area, and is designated as a Significant Coastal Fish and Wildlife Habitat.

We conduct nature education programs for visiting groups, bird studies, invasive species management and habitat restoration efforts.  Please read our FAQ page for important information and a safe and enjoyable visit, and explore the above menus to learn more about Audubon New York's stewardship and education programs devoted to the conservation of birds, other wildife and their habitats across New York State.
